this image of Rose-Marie in an ebay sale for an old book (I didn't copy down
the title). This was one of the images. It seems to me that this was done at
the same time as Rose-Marie Ormond (later Madame Robert André-Michel)
which would put it, if my thinking is correct, at the time of her wedding.

Photos of Side Canals
Sargent did
numerous paintings of side canals over the course of his verious trips. This
one we see is done in a gondola, as many of them were. A stone bridge is in the
distance and such a delightful sense of the shimmering water.
