George Swinton two years previous ('95). The Swintons were friends with a

painting by Sargent of Mrs. Phipps and Winston Guest is hanging in the Phipps
dining room of Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury, Long Island, NY, which in
now open to the public. According to the plaque it was done in 1906.
