Sybil Sasson, Countess of Rocksavage
(later Marchioness of Cholmondeley) She married the
Earl of Rocksavage, and they were later Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.[2]
Sir Philip Sasson was Sybil's brother and John Sketched and painted

Photos of Side Canals
Sargent did
numerous paintings of side canals over the course of his verious trips. This
one we see is done in a gondola, as many of them were. A stone bridge is in the
distance and such a delightful sense of the shimmering water.
