significantly different mediums. The first (Thumbnail below) was part of a base
Bas-Relief for the Rotunda and was of raised painted plaster. The second (featured above) was later created for
the Stairway Ceiling Decorations and was oil on canvas.

I have been
told that Edith was the photographer of the photo of Sargent
on Dwight's yacht [Thumbnail]. Note that Sargent, who
always like to paint under a large parasol/umbrella,
had no place to put the parasol on board the boat, so he tied it to his leg,

Lavery (1887-1935) was the wife of the painter Sir John Lavery. The drawing
took place just two years after Hazel's instrumental hosting (in her husband's
studio) of the negotiations that finally synched the Anglo-Irish Treaty.
