This painting depicts a gray summer sky behind a green field with a creek and forest. The creek begins in the lower left corner and snakes around into the background giving depth. The trees and brush are concentrated on the right. A house or other structure is visible behind the brush. The artist signed 'J. Ottis Adams' on the bottom mid-right hand corner.
