Three-quarter-length standing portrait of the Countess of Rocksavage wearing a black dress with stand-up collar, gold panel down the front, red accents, and gold train hanging for the shoulders. She wears several long strands of pearls with a gold winged jewel hanging at her breast. She holds a single flower in her right hand.

Remarks:    

Sybil Sassoon (1894-1989) married the Earl of Rocksavage in 1913 and became Marchioness of Cholmondeley in 1923 with his accession to fifth maquess.
