Pictured on our online galleries are a portion of our collection of important American antique furniture, needlework pictures, American and China trade paintings, brass candlesticks, and English and Chinese ceramics.

The American antique furniture dates from the Seventeenth century to the mid-Nineteenth century with pieces in the Jacobean, William and Mary, Queen Anne, Chippendale, and Federal styles.

There are pieces by or attributed to many of the most important early American cabinetmakers, including Thomas Affleck,  Michael Allison,  and John Townsend.

The American paintings include examples of the work by Thomas Birch,  Thomas Doughty, and Eastman Johnson.
