Stevens Fine Art handles American and European art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. (1850-1950) We also have interest in Depression Era art; New York urban and city subjects, WPA art as well as California Impressionists, early Arizona and western American subjects. The gallery also focuses on New Mexico art including the Santa Fe and Taos schools. Another interest is Transcendental and Abstract paintings from the 30's and 40's.
The gallery's holdings include a wide selection of paintings, watercolors and fine prints by distinguished artists including Thomas Hart Benton, George Elbert Burr, Gustave Baumann, Andrew Dasburg, Francisco Zuniga, Raymond Jonson, Doel Reed, Birger Sandzen, Grant Wood, Anders Zorn, John Sennhauser and many others.
Stevens Fine Art has been buying and selling paintings, prints and ceramics privately for twenty five years. The first few years were spent in Southwestern Kansas buying and selling mostly Regionalist art and Depression Era prints, including the Prairie Printmakers works. After moving the business to Arizona in 1988, we have steadily grown to handle paintings and prints for every level of collector from many areas of interest. We hold ourselves to a high standard of quality and ethics.
