The Museum of Fine Arts Ghent ( Museum voor Schone Kunsten in Netherl.) was built in 1902 according to plans by the architect Charles van Rysselberghe .Severely damaged in 1940, however, it was fully repaired and refurbished.

The museum's collections provide an overview of painting, printmaking, sculpture, graphic art and the art of tapestry in Europe since the xiv th  century . The museum also has a large collection of paintings of the xix th  century . Y are exposed works:
