The Cincinnati Art Club was formed in 1890 for the purpose of advancing the knowledge and love of art through education. This has been and will continue to be promoted via exhibitions, lectures, hands-on demonstrations, sketch and painting group work sessions, monthly critique sessions, the maintenance of an art library and the awarding of student scholarships.

It is the second oldest continually operating organization of its kind west of the Allegheny Mountains and is proud of it's over 120 years of service to the community.
